He is an American College of Veterinary Microbiologists (ACVM) board certified specialist in virology and immunology. Dr.Kuchipudi research involves developing novel diagnostic tools and vaccines for a range of veterinary and zoonotic pathogens. He developed several novel molecular diagnostic tools including a probe-based PCR for Neospora caninum. His research investigated the factors that influence entry, growth and ohentotypic plasticity of N.caninum in mammalian cells.
